Valbara

Valbara is the continent on Midgard where Lunathion, also known as Crescent City, is located on.

General Information[]

Valbara is located across the Haldren Sea from Pangera and is a key territory full of vital resources to the Asteri.

Valbara has four great rivers, each ruled by a different court. There is the Istros River, which is ruled by the Blue Court, the Melanthos River, which is ruled by the Black Court, the Niveus River, which is ruled by the White Court, and the Rubellus River, which is ruled by the Red Court. All the courts are ruled by sister queens and have long been rivals. They are each mighty and gifted with magic but also vain, ancient, and bored.

The name Valbara could be a reference to the prehistoric supercontinent known as Vaalbara, which existed between 2.7 and 3.6 billion years ago, making it the Earth's earliest known supercontinent. It contained land that now exists in present day southern Africa and western Australia.^[1]
