Urd is a goddess, although it is unknown whom she favors.
Biography[]
Urd is a goddess and one of the five deities in Midgard. Urd guides all. She's the weaver of fate and destiny. Upon learning about Urd, Nesta wonders if Urd is the Midgardian version of the Cauldron, as the Fae of Prythian say the Cauldron holds everyone's fates.
House of Flame and Shadow[]
Bryce Quinlan comes to believe that Urd has sent her to the Fae Homeworld to discover something and to acquire Truth-Teller.
The Under-King mentions that in his world, Urd has a different name, even though she is not a goddess, but a force that governs worlds. He depicts her as a cauldron of life, brimming with the language of creation. In his old world, she is called Wyrd, with Urd being a bastardized version of her true name.[1]
