Lord Tristan Flynn, more commonly know as Flynn, is best friends with Ruhn Danaan and Declan Emmet.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Tristan is the oldest child of Padraig Flynn, better known as Lord Hawthorne, and his wife Lady Hawthorne, and the older brother of Sathia Flynn. He grew up in the Hawthorne Villa in Five Roses in Lunathion. Tristan and Ruhn became friends because they both hate the hierarchy and stifling roles of the Fae nobility. Tristan and Declan have been inseparable since birth. Tristan will one day inherit his father's title of Lord Hawthorne. He has spent every possible moment of the last several decades trying to forget this.
About fifty years ago, Tristan went through his Ordeal with Ruhn and Declan. Afterwards, Tristan made the Drop and then Anchored Ruhn during his. Tristan works as a member of Lunathion's Auxiliary.

Personality[]
Tristan appears to be nothing more than a rich playboy, but it is just an act. He pretends to be a partier and full of irreverence. He is incredibly charming and equally lethal. He normally has a carefree demeanor, but dreads the moment when he will succeed his father as Lord Hawthorne. He doesn't look forward to the centuries of responsibilities the title will involve. Bryce Quinlan claims Declan and Tristan are the biggest gossips in the city.
Physical Description[]
Tristan has golden-brown skin, short chestnut brown hair, and brown eyes. He is said to be the spitting image of his father. Tristan has a charming, boyish smile, classic Fae beauty and considerable muscles.

Powers[]
- Fae Physiology: As one of the Fae, Flynn has enhanced senses and physical abilities, including a sense of smell much stronger than that of humans. He also heals from injuries much faster than a regular human.
- Earth Magic: Flynn appears to have some form of earth magic that Ruhn states is "rare among the fire-prone Valbaran Fae." It may be specific to plants like manipulating vines to use as weapons.
- Immortality: Since he has made the Drop, Tristan is immortal, which not only grants him a slowed and expanded lifespan but allows him to survive injuries that not even his accelerated healing would be able to regenerate from.
Abilities[]
- Combat: Tristan is trained in various forms of combat and a skilled warrior. Since he has trained his entire life to be a lethal, efficient killer, he's as well-trained as any of the angels' elite fighters.
Relationships[]
Ruhn Danaan[]
Tristan and Ruhn have been best friends almost their entire lives and lived together for fifty years and were often throwing parties, getting drunk and high. They work together at the Aux and went through their Ordeal together.
Declan Emmet[]
Flynn and Declan have been best friends since childhood. Ruhn states have been inseparable since birth. He also mentions that anything Declan knows, he automatically shares with Flynn in a matter of seconds. They also went through their Ordeal together.
Bryce Quinlan[]
When Bryce was younger, she had a huge crush on Tristan and fantasied about marrying him. When Flynn found out Bryce was the bastard daughter of the Autumn King, he considered her his princess and treated her like a royal.

Trivia[]
- In the main series book, House of Earth and Blood, Tristan's eyes are described as brown.[1] However, in Bryce & Hunt's Bonus Scene for House of Sky and Breath, he is described as having green eyes like his father.[2] It is unclear whether this discrepancy was intentional or a result of an editing error.
- Tristan is a decade older than Sathia.[3]
- Tristan is armed with at least one gun even in his own home.[1]
