The Fallen are the Malakh who fought against the Asteri.

General Information

The Fallen are members of the Archangel Shahar's failed rebellion, led by the 18th Legion. There were three thousand warriors. They were defeated in the Battle of Mount Hermon in 14.835 V.E. Most of the Fallen are either scattered around Midgard or dead. Those still alive are identifiable by the magical "halo" tattoo on their forehead. They are enslaved by the Asteri and forced to serve the Malakim they fought against. The wings of the dead Fallen were formerly mounted on the wall of the throne room in the Crystal Palace.

House of Flame and Shadow

Bryce Quinlan uses The Mask to call upon the pieces of souls stored in the cut-off wings of the Fallen to rally them against the Asteri.
