The 33rd Legion, or the 33rd Imperial Legion, is the personal army, or Triarii, of the Governor of Lunathion.

General Information

The 33rd Legion are owned by whomever is the current Governor of Lunathion. They serve as the personal Guard for the Governor as well as fulfilling the wish of the Governor to keep peace in Lunathion. The 33rd Legion is a Malakim unit of 3,000 legionaries.

The job of the 33rd Legion can range from patrolling to assassinating people that the Governor wants removed from the city. Publicly, they are supposed to protect tourists and provide safety. Bryce Quinlan says that they actually do more glowering and threatening than helping. The 33rd Legion's holding center is a sterile, subterranean processing center a few blocks from the Comitium. Most of the slaves in Crescent City are the warrior-angels in the 33rd Legion. They are identifiable by the SPQM slave tattoo on their wrists. Many of the 33rd fulfill their roles in the legion in the hopes of being granted their freedom.
