The term Starborn describes the descendants of High King Fionn and High Queen Theia.

General Information

As far as known, the Starborn line started with Fionn and Theia, who originated from the Fae Homeworld. After murdering her husband when he refused to pass his throne onto her before he died - naming his older daughter as next in line instead -, Theia was the only one left with the Starborn powers. Before going into her last fight with her former general Pelias, Theia used the Dread Trove to divide her powers between herelf and her daughters, Helena and Silene. After Theia's death due to Pelias, who dubbed himself the first Starborn Prince, the Starborn line followed the descendants of the sisters - one in the Fae Homeworld, the other in Midgard.

Powers

The Starborn have the ability to wield pure starlight, which can be immensely powerful and used in different ways. Furthermore, the Starborn are able to wield both the Starsword, its twin Truth-Teller and the Dread Trove. Starborn magic can be channeled through sacred objects, bringing them to life. Those of the Starborn line are drawn to objects made by those with Starborn magic because "like calls to like."
