Prince Pelias was the first Starborn prince.

Biography[]

Pelias originated from the Fae Homeworld, where he was a general under High King Fionn and High Queen Theia, after they defeated their masters. He later helped Theia kill Fionn, so she could reign herself, when he refused to pass his throne onto her before he died - naming his older daughter Helena as next in line instead. Theia set her sights on conquering other worlds like her former masters did. When the Asteri were defeated, they left behind some of their weapons, of which she used the Horn and the Harp to make the Crossing with some of her people, thus entering Midgard from her island. Pelias was part of that entourage, but later turned onto Theia with the help of Rigelus. He killed Theia on the battlefield, took both the Starsword and the Horn from her, named himself the first Starborn Prince of Midgard, forced Helena to marry him and raped her in the process to continue the lineage with the Starborn.

Sometime, Apollion had to steal Pelias's blood to make the kristallos to hunt the Horn — it contained that essence in order to wield the Horn. Pelias himself wielded the Horn during the First Wars and later on, until he died. He was buried in the Cave of Princes on Avallen together with the Starsword.
