Otters are true animals that in Lunathion are messengers. They relay tech-free communication between those who lived in the three realms that make up Crescent City. These realms are the Mer in the river, the Reapers in the Bone Quarter, and the residents of Lunathion proper.
Physical Description
Otters have long, slim bodies and relatively short limbs. Their most striking anatomical features are the powerful webbed feet used to swim, and their seal-like abilities holding breath underwater. Most have sharp claws on their feet and all except the sea otter have long, muscular tails [1]. They also wear a reflective yellow vest and have sharp fanged teeth.
Powers & Abilities
They are true animals, not shifters. They do however possess an uncanny level of intelligence, thanks to the old magic in their veins.
