The Ember & Randall Exclusive Bonus Scene is a bonus scene found in the Books-A-Million and Indigo editions of House of Flame and Shadow. It should be read after chapter 80.

Plot Summary

The scene takes places after Ember Quinlan and Randall Silago visit Nena and are pushed into the Fae Homeworld by Bryce. There, they meet Nesta Archeron and Rhysand, and witness a discussion between them about the former lending the Mask to Bryce. After that, they are being questioned about Bryce's motives.

Nesta later shows them a guestroom for Ember and Randall to stay in and Ember and Nesta bond through some kind of mother-daughter-relationship. In the night, Randall comforts Ember and reminds her that they along with their children will be fine. In the morning, Ember goes almost starts an argument with Rhysand, but the latter forms a bond with Randall and they joke with each other. Ember and Nesta deepen their bond, giving each other some company.
