Emile Renast, known as Cooper Silago after his adoption, is Sofie Renast's brother.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Not much is known about his early life, but at the age of ten, Emile was sent to the Kavalla death camp.
House of Sky and Breath[]
Three years after is imprisonment, Sofie Renast, his older sister, infiltrated the death camp and freed him, as well as a couple of other kids. When Sofie disappeared, Emile ran away and was highly sought after by various leaders, including the River Queen and the Asteri.

Physical Description[]
When he arrived at Ember and Randall's house he was a gangly, near-skeletal boy with haunted, bleak eyes. He has since become a healthy teenage boy.
Powers & Abilities[]
As a human, Emile doesn't have any powers.
Trivia[]
- Emile has distant thunderbird ancestry, but unlike his sister, Emile does not appear to possess any thunderbird abilities and seems to be completely human.
- Bryce uses the wealth she inherited from the Autumn King to pay for Cooper's college fund.[1]
