Baxian Argos, better known as The Helhound, was part of Sandriel's Triarii before starting to work for Celestina.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Baxian grew up in one of the poorer parts of Ravilis. With his mother a Helhound shifter and his father an angel, it made life hard. They were neither well-accepted by the House of Earth and Blood nor the House of Sky and Breath. It even made it hard for his parents to keep their jobs.

Physical Description[]
Baxian has dark closely buzzed hair, obsidian eyes, and brown skin. He is tall and muscular with jet-black wings. Baxian has a scar snaking down his neck caused by Hunt Athalar. Across his heart he wears a tattoo reading Through love, all is possible, inked in Danika's handwriting. It gets shredded during his torture in the dungeons of the Crystal Palace.

- Malakim Physiology: As an angel, Baxian has enhanced physical abilities and senses that make him far stronger than both humans and Vanir. He also possesses regenerative abilities that are far superior to humans and Vanir.
- Flight: Through his Malakim wings, Baxian can fly at high speeds. He is also capable of carrying people in his arms while flying. His wings also act like a shield to protect him from some attacks.
- Immortality: Having made the Drop, Baxian is immortal, which not only grants him a slowed and expanded lifespan, but allows him to survive injuries that not even his accelerated healing would be able to regenerate from.
- Shifting: As part-shifter, Baxian possesses the ability to transform into a magically enhanced animal form. His animal form is that of a helhound. In this form he is stronger, faster, and has keener senses than a regular human.

- Combat Skills: Baxian has been trained in various forms of combat and self-defense to an exceedingly high level. When it comes to weapons, it seems he favors a sword.[1]

Unknown to most, Baxian and Danika were mates.
Hunt Athalar[]
Hunt and Baxian were enemies for a very long-time, having both served in Sandriel's Triari, and Hunt being responsible for the scar he gave to the Hellhound. Although Baxian hadn't done anything personal to Hunt, Hunt's animosity towards him was still prevalent when he joined the 33rd Legion. When Hunt was made to chaperone the Hellhound, Hunt still made his distaste towards Baxian known at any chance he got, sighting him as a nuisance more than anything. And while there were moments where he tolerated his presence (such as playing video games with each other), Hunt didn't trust Baxian and believed for a while he would sell him and his friends out during their search for Sofie. Upon both their capture in the Asteri dungeons, Hunt and Baxian, for their own survival, were forced to work together, and eventually considered each other as allies.
