Actaeon is one of Lidia Cervos's twin sons.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Lidia Cervos was selected from the females in her family to participate in a fertility rite in the Aldosian Forest. She mated with a male of another family, their identities remained a secret to each other.
A few weeks after the rite, Lidia discovered that she was pregnant. Although a baby from a sacred ritual was celebrated, she decided not to tell her father about it. At that point, Lidia already knew what kind of monsters she was serving, so to avoid getting her children close to Pollux Antonius, Sandriel, or others who served the Asteri, she faked her own kidnapping and disappearance. She surrendered the twins to the Ophion rebels who took her to the Ocean Queen's ship, the Depth Charger. The Ocean Queen offered her a place to stay for a while and to bear the babies but for her children's continued protection, she had to go back to the Asteri to spy for Ophion. Lidia had to leave her sons when they were 18 months old and shortly after, they were adopted by a couple named Davit and Renki.

Personality[]
Acteaon is described to be a bit of a genius. When he was still a child, he devised helmets and fins for his twin and himself to use so they could keep up with the Mer children, even in the deep ocean. He's been taking things apart and putting them back together into something smarter and cooler since he was a baby.[1] When in the presence of his mother, Acteaon acts brash and cold towards her, as he thinks she left them voluntarily and seems to be hurt about it.
Physical Description[]
Actaeon is said to have dark hair and golden eyes, like his mother.
Powers & Abilities[]
- Shifter Physiology: As Actaeon is part-Shifter, he presumably has enhanced speed, strength, and regenerative abilities because of his Vanir status. He has more acute senses and can heal from injuries much faster than a human.
