as I already mentioned in my previous post, I want to offer another place for this community to come together and discuss the series (and everything else your heart desires). I opened up a Discord server for the Crescent City series and invite you to join, if you feel like it. I am aware that some (or many) of you might already b a part of the A Court of Thorns and Roses server and I respect that. In no way this is meant to be a competition, but instead just a cozy place to meet up.

I would be happy to meet you there! I would also be glad to find some help, if you're up to it. But the most important thing is to find likeminded people and have fun!

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to inform you about the latest staff changes on here and future plans I have for this wiki.

As of today, I decided to revoke the administrator rights of RedstoneDemigod and Larken89. Both have respectively been last active 4 and 2 years ago. On top of that I reached out to our current Bureaucreats Luciecarstairs and ShadowGryffindor, who have respectively been last active 4 and 3 years ago. I will give them time to respond, but if they don't or don't have any interest in this wiki anymore, I will have them removed as well. If any of them chose to wantto come back later, their rights can be reviewed again and reinstated, if nothing goes against it.

Those have neither been ill-considered decisions nor personal ones, but instead a means to advance the wiki and help the community grow. Among other things I want to apply to the A+ program, which will only be granted to a Wiki if all of the admins have completed the according courses.

With this, the Staff page has been updated as well, so everyone can retrace what happened and who is/has been part of the staff on here.

I also want to expand the community and offer another place for discussions in form of a Discord Channel - I'll do another post for that one, if you're interested.

Hey there,

I added a new overview for both active and inactive staff members on this Wiki. This way, it is easily identifiable whom you can contact in case of a problem or if you have ay questions. With that, I also adjusted our top navigation, since the inactive members were still displayed there and this might lead to confusion.

This being said, the inactive staff members still have their respective special user rights and have not been stripped of them. They will still be able to fill in their positions once they choose to become active again.

On top of that, I also added an entirely new page where users are able to request special rights in case they want to become part of the staff and help the community even more. Before requesting rights, please make sure to read through the requirements and follow them. Otherwise rights might not be granted.

It is in no way my intention to displace the other staff members and be the sole administrator. I simply hope that with these changes, it will be easier for us as a community to communicate and support the growth of this wiki. With this being said, I hope you'll keep on having a wonderful time around our community. Happy reading and/or editing - I love seeing all of you around!
